Neuer and Olise back in Bayern team training ahead of Atlético clash

Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer and forward Michael Olise returned to Bayern Munich team training on Monday. Both players joined the final training session ahead of the Champions League clash against Atlético Madrid on Thursday.

Neuer missed Saturday's 2-2 draw with Dortmund due to pain in his foot, while Olise had to come off after taking a knock during the game.

The already injury-hit German champions also saw Ismael Saibari and Serge Gnabry picking up injuries during the clash against Dortmund.

Saibari had surgery after he tore the syndesmotic ligament in his right ankle, while Gnabry sustained a muscular injury in his left hamstring.

Against Atlético, Bayern will once again be led by assistant coach Aaron Danks, who's overseeing the team during Vincent Kompany's absence.

Komapny has so far missed three games due to illness and it's unclear when he will return.
