Union Berlin presented "Who wants to be a Millionaire?" contestant Noah Petrik with a "SPASSIKOWSKI" shirt at their Bundesliga match against Cologne on Sunday after his wrong answer on the German quiz show about the name of the club's coach.
Petrik trusted his phone-a-friend lifeline and chose made-up name Igor Spassikowski over the correct answer Mauro Lustrinelli in a clip which has now gone viral on social media.
Spass means fun in German while Lust translates as desire. Other potential answers were Erling Gaudigaard and Jimmy Sexyhexi.
The wrong answer cost him €1,500 ($1,680) and he went home with only €500.
Union took the mistake in good humour and quickly invited Petrik to their home match.
"It is so we can get to know each other," Lustrinelli joked.
