Runaway second-division leaders Hertha Berlin have posted a net profit of €1.2 million ($1.34 million), their first in seven years, while revenue reached a record €106.2 million for the business year to June 30.
Managing director Ralf Huschen said in a statement: "The renewed improvement in our annual result is an important milestone for Hertha Berlin. It confirms that we are moving forward economically and gradually improving our financial starting position."
The capital club won 3-0 at Kaiserslautern on Saturday to move onto 28 points from 10 games, already nine ahead of second-placed Wolfsburg.
Hertha were last in the Bundesliga in 2023 when they finished bottom.
