Augsburg score quickest goal in Bundesliga history after Neuer howler

Augsburg's Robin Fellhauer scored the quickest goal in Bundesliga history after just 8 seconds following a blunder by Bayern Munich keeper Manuel Neuer on Saturday.

Bayern kicked off and the ball went back to Neuer, who was closed down by Fellhauer. 

The goalkeeper tried to chip the Augsburg player, but it hit Fellhauer who was then able to run in and slot home unchallenged. The previous Bundesliga record was 9 seconds, but the league's official website and statisticians Opta said Fellhauer's goal was a tick quicker. 

The game was the first for the Bavarian sides after the long international break.
