Nübel could be Germany's starting keeper against Greece

Germany coach Jürgen Klopp is set to change his starting goalkeeper for his debut on home soil in the Nations League match against Greece on Sunday.

Alexander Nübel had an intensive one-on-one training with goalkeeper coach Andreas Kronenberg on Saturday and looks set to replace Marc-André ter Stegen between the posts.

Ter Stegen and Finn Dahmen trained on the opposite side of the pitch with the second goalkeeper coach, Stefan Wessels. 

For Nübel, who has been playing for Besiktas Istanbul in Turkey since the summer, it would be his fourth international appearance. He was also part of the squad as the third-choice goalkeeper at this year's World Cup.

Ter Stegen was the starter in the 1-1 draw with the Netherlands on Thursday and the routine with the goalkeepers was similar ahead of the game. However, as is customary during the final training session, the media were only allowed to watch the first 15 minutes.

Klopp had his whole squad available for training, including forwards Florian Wirtz and Jonathan Burkardt, who arrived on Friday to replace injured Jamal Musiala and Kai Havertz.

Klopp named a two-part squad, and both Wirtz and Burkardt were originally part of the second group, which will face Serbia and Greece next week.
