Eleven injured after local bus hits tree in Berlin

Eleven people were injured when a public bus hit a tree in south-eastern Berlin, police and emergency services reported on Sunday.
One person suffered life-threatening injuries and a further three were seriously hurt, they said.
Seven others sustained minor injuries in the accident which occurred in the Neukölln district of the German capital on Saturday evening.
The bus was travelling on a regular route when it crashed. One person became trapped inside the vehicle and had to be freed by firefighters. Emergency crews treated the injured and took them to hospital.
There was initially no information about the cause of the accident. The road was reopened early on Sunday morning. The fire department deployed 65 personnel to the scene.
