RB Leipzig have further bolstered their attack with the signing of Spanish striker Marc Guiu, the Bundesliga club said.
Guiu, 20, joins Leipzig on a five-year contract until 2031 from Premier League club Chelsea, with the transfer fee estimated at €17 million ($19.7 million).
Guiu came through the Barcelona academy and made his senior debut for them in October 2023 at age 17.
He went on to make seven competitive appearances and score twice before the end of the season and a move to Chelsea, where he scored eight goals in 29 matches and won the Conference League and Club World Cup with them.
"Marc is a very good fit for our RB DNA with his intensity, pace and incredible work rate," Leipzig managing director for sport Marcel Schäfer said.
"He's relentless in his work without the ball, while he's also a real presence in the box and is always looking to get at goal. Despite being only 20, he already has experience at the highest level and in the Champions League."
Guiu said: "RB Leipzig have shown time and again that young players can develop here at the very highest level. RBL are also an ambitious club with high aspirations in every competition. I want to play my part in achieving those goals while continuing to improve every day."
Leipzig had earlier in the transfer window brought back Christopher Nkunku and have signed Conrad Harder on loan for their forward line.
But they also lost players, most notably Yan Diomande, who went to Real Madrid for a reported €125 million.
