Star forward Harry Kane trained with Bayern Munich during the official team presentation on Monday for the first time since returning from his holidays.

England captain Kane, as well as France internationals Michael Olise and Dayot Upamecano have returned after they had extra time to rest following their participation in the semi-finals of the recent World Cup.

Except for Konrad Laimer and Jamal Musiala, all other players participated in the training session.

Musiala gave Bayern fans a scare during the 3-1 win in the friendly match against RB Leipzig on last Saturday.

The Germany playmaker, who broke his leg in July 2025 and has struggled for full fitness since, suddenly fell to the pitch late on in the game. His team-mates urgently called for the doctors and a stretcher was brought out. He was eventually able to walk off on his own.

The club didn't explain why Musiala didn't take part in the team training.

"The most important thing is that he's doing well," board member for sport Max Eberl said.

Laimer, meanwhile, limped off injured.

"Everything's fine; I took a knock - but it's no big deal, I should be back to normal soon. It's always enjoyable when the fans are here. We really enjoy it," Laimer said during Monday's event.

Bayern have a friendly against Heidenheim on Tuesday before they officially kick off the season in the Franz Beckenbauer Super Cup on Saturday. Their first Bundesliga match is on August 28 against VfB Stuttgart.

The women's squad, who last Saturday won the German Super Cup for the third straight time, also participated in the team presentation.

Injured defender Giulia Gwinn said she's "doing great" and "looking forward to the start of the Bundesliga campaign."

"My first goal is to get properly fit and stay that way - after such a long period of rehab, that's my top priority. Then I want to help the team and continue to develop as a player. We had a brilliant season last year; we want to build on that and perhaps even go one better. Then there's the World Cup in the summer," she said.
