Several arrests after shots fired at Cologne snack bar

Unknown individuals fired multiple shots at a snack bar in the western German city of Cologne during the night, prompting a major police operation involving a helicopter, a spokesman said on Sunday.

The police intervention in Cologne's Höhenberg district took place at around 1.30 am. No one was injured. 

Several people were arrested during the night, but the spokesman declined to say whether the arrests were directly linked to the shooting.
