Ukraine Defence Contact Group to meet in Berlin

The Ukraine Defence Contact Group (UDCG) is meeting in Berlin on Wednesday at the invitation of German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius.

Also attending in person are NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, British Defence Secretary John Healey and Ukrainian Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, while other participants will participate by video link.

The meeting will discuss further support for Ukraine after large bilateral projects were previously agreed by Germany and Ukraine.

Germany and the United Kingdom took over leadership of the UDGC in April last year. The UDCG draws together all 32 NATO members and 25 other countries, along with the European Union.
