Borussia Dortmund have reportedly agreed on a contract renewal until 2030 with their Germany midfielder Felix Nmecha.
The Bild paper and Sky TV said on Wednesday that Nmecha's deal will be renewed by two years. He arrived in 2023 from Wolfsburg for €30 million ($34.9 million) and has a contract until 2028.
Nmecha, 25, is a regular starter in defensive midfield under coach Niko Kovac and has won six Germany caps.
Nmecha was lately seen as a possible candidate for a summer summer, given his risen market value to around €45 million, but that appears to have changed now. Under the renewal he would would reportedly become one of the team's top earners.
The squad could however see a rebuild after the season. Julian Brandt will leave on a free transfer, striker Serhou Guirassy may also move elsewhere and the future of Germany defender Nico Schlotterbeck remains unclear.
