St Pauli fought back for a late 1-1 draw with RB Leipzig, while 10-man Hoffenheim prevailed 2-0 at Werder Bremen in their respective postponed Bundesliga matches on Friday.
The games were originally to take place on January 10, but had to be rescheduled due to the wintry weather conditions and the subsequent safety risks.
Leipzig took their time and only broke the deadlock in the 66th thanks to Yan Diomande.
David Raum's corner wasn't completely cleared by the St Pauli defence and Diomande recovered the ball on the edge of the box before striking a powerful shot into the net.
But Raum fouled Martijn Kaars inside the area and the referee pointed to the spot. Kaars himself took the penalty in stoppage-time and secured St Pauli a precious point.
"I totally slipped. It was a clear penalty, I have to admit," Raum told broadcasters DAZN.
St Pauli defender Hauke Wahl said he thinks his team deserved to take at least a point.
"We had a good game. Leipzig had one or two chances in the first half, but nothing more in the second half."
While St Pauli are 17th and in the relegation zone, Leipzig are fourth, three points behind third-placed Hoffenheim, who overcame a numerical disadvantage to secure the three points.
Alexander Prass received Andrej Kramaric's assist in a central position to hit a first-time shot into the goal in the 44th.
Things seemed to start going downhill to Hoffenheim when Wouter Burger saw a red card for a late challenge on Cameron Puertas in the 52nd.
But just two minutes later, Grischa Prömel fired from close range to double the lead for the guests.
Bremen thought they had pulled one back in the 64th, but Romano Schmid's effort was ruled offside.
"Such wins are more fun. We were all there for each other. We want to keep going like that," Prömel told DAZN.
With the defeat, Bremen dropped to 15th and sit three points above the relegation zone.
