German hotels are projected to see another record year in 2025, despite a decline in visitors from abroad, official figures showed.
Hotels with more than 10 beds recorded a total of 465.5 million overnight stays by the end of November, an increase of 0.1% on the record figures seen in the same period last year, the Federal Statistical Office said.
A total of 388.4 million stays were booked by domestic tourists, up 0.6% from last year.
The number of guests from abroad dropped by 2.2% to 77.2 million overnight stays over the period.
However, bookings by both groups increased in November year-on-year.
In 2024, hotels across Germany logged a record 496.1 million overnight stays.
