Bayern's Pavlovic doubtful for Stuttgart clash, too early for Davies

Bayern Munich midfielder Aleksandar Pavlovic is doubtful for the Bundesliga match against VfB Stuttgart on Saturday, while the game comes too early for defender Alphoso Davies.
Pavlovic had to be subbed off in the German Cup win against Union Berlin on Wednesday due to injury, but coach Vincent Kompany said it's nothing serious.
"The initial news is good. He should be able to train again in the next few days. It's nothing serious, but we'll have to wait and see for tomorrow," Kompany said in a news conference on Friday.
"Alphonso is close but not close enough for tomorrow. But it'll be soon," he added.
The coach also said that he hopes Jamala Musiala can train with the team before Christmas. The midfielder has been sidelined since he sustained a broken leg and dislocated ankle at the Club World Cup in July.
Bayern struggled against Union and only advanced to the Cup quarter-finals after a narrow 3-2 win. The club from Berlin is also the only team who managed to take away points from Bayern in the Bundesliga in a 2-2 draw.
But Bayern still top the league eight points ahead of RB Leipzig and Kompany wants to keep the comfortable advantage with a win in the remaining three Bundesliga games of the season plus the Champions League match against Sporting.
"I'll be happy if we get four wins. There's a lot of focus on that. We wanted to still be in all three competitions going into the new year, which we've done. Now we want to win our remaining games," he said.
